About the Artist
Leah Lynnette

Biography
Leah Lynnette, a Memphis native with a fearless creative streak, brings a bold, expressive energy to every canvas she touches. Blending vibrant color, layered textures, and striking portraiture with abstract elements, her work feels both raw and intentional—like a visual diary that refuses to stay inside the lines. From fashion-forward faces to graffiti-inspired compositions and mixed-media storytelling, Leah’s style is all about emotion, movement, and individuality. She playfully describes herself as “artsy” rather than an artist, but her work says otherwise—capturing attention with a confidence and authenticity that’s impossible to ignore.
Artist Statement
My work is ever-changing. The style, the feel, the palette... it's always a work in progress. I love exploring new techniques and compositions. I've never taken an art class - yet I feel connected to the canvas in a way I can't explain. Art is my safe space. I paint when I'm happy, sad, angry, lost or just numb. I'm often inspired by the music I'm listening to at the moment or something that has taken place in my life - be a memory or intense feeling.
I'm glad you're here- in my space; OUR space. I hope that something speaks to you...
